Apple Watch Sale Channel Expands to Target Stores

Apple is pushing the Apple Watch into more stores increasing the shelf space again by a big factor.

Apple has already signed up Best Buy to sell the Apple Watch. Now Apple adds Target as another big sales channel for the Apple Watch. The first Target Stores are already offering the Apple Watch in the coming days. By October 25 all Target Stores will have the Apple Watch on display.

The Apple Watch will also sell online at starging October 18. We already pointed out in an earlier report that the Apple Watch is one of the hottest holiday gifts and will also be featured in Black Friday ads.

There are several reasons why there will be deals on the Apple Watch. First of all Apple wants to sell as many Apple Watches as possible to establish the eco system for the Apple Watch apps. The other big reason is that there will be an Apple Watch 2 in 2016. The newest rumors point to a fall release despite the Apple Watch having launched in April of this year.

Target is already offering a deal on the Apple Watch. Target RedCard holders can take off already 5% off the regular price.

Target will have 20 models of the Apple Watch in stock, in both 38mm and 42mm sizes. Select models and bands will be available at all Target stores, and an expanded assortment of Apple Watch Sport and Apple Watch will be available on Prices range from $349 to $599.
