France Train Hero Spencer Stone in Serious Condition after Stabbing

This is an unbelievable story that is filling the internet right now. One of the heroes who stopped a terrorist on a train in France got stabbed last night in Sacramento, California. Spencer Stone, who already suffered the most injuries when he tackled a gunman on the train back in August is now in serious condition according to the latest reports.

According to a statement on the UC Davis Health System site, Airman Spencer Stone is in serious condition. The family of Spencer Stone thanks for the outpouring of love and support and requests that the media respect his right to privacy at this time.

Update: UC Davis has released more details about the conditition of Spencer Stone: "Airman Stone arrived at the UC Davis Medical Center’s Level 1 trauma center very early this morning with stab wounds to the torso. He underwent surgery and subsequently was admitted to the hospital’s intensive care unit. Airman Stone’s condition is serious but stable. While he has sustained significant injuries, his care team anticipates that he will make a full recovery."

What happened? The details are not fully clear yet. Thursday night Spencer Stone got stabbed Midtown Sacramento. This is an area of popular bars. Early report said Stone has been protecting a friend.

According to the latest police information, the incident is not related to the train incident. The stabbing happened at close to 1am in the morning. The suspect have fled the scene. The stabbing is somehow related to a night club incident. Two groups of people got into an argument that ended in the stabbing of Spencer Stone. The police asks anyone with information to call them. The suspects are two male Asians. They fled in a dark Toyota Camry.
