Apple expected to Launch New Magic Keyboard, Magic Mouse 2

Apple Magic Keyboard, Magic Mouse 2 & Magic Trackpad 2 are revealed in OS X code.

Apple is rumored to release a new upgraded iMac model soon. But, now it looks like the company will also be launching three updated Mac accessories along with it.

The French site Consomac have spotted code in OS X 10.11.1 beta 3 suggesting that Apple is planning to release a Magic Keyboard, Magic Mouse 2, and Magic Trackpad 2 in the coming months.

In August, Apple submitted a petition to the FCC for a Magic Mouse 2 with stronger Bluetooth connectivity and an updated wireless keyboard as well.

If the beta code is right then it means that the FCC agreed to the accessories and we should expect them to launch anytime soon.

The new 4K iMac is reportedly coming to Apple Stores next week on Tuesday, October 13.

It is not yet confirmed whether these new Magic accessories will be launched alongside this 4K iMac, but it does seem to be the case.

Although the details regarding the new Magic Keyboard, Magic Mouse 2, and Magic Trackpad 2 remain veiled, we can speculate that perhaps Apple will introduce some kind of Force Touch/Force Click/3D Touch functionality to this lineup of accessories.

What we know is that the new products don’t require constant battery changing. The improved Bluetooth LE support should also mean that the internal battery should have a good life before it needs to be charged.
