iPhone 6S Camera Ranked The 10th Best Camera by DxOMark

Sony Z5 and Lg G4's camera puts iPhone 6S to shame.

The phones nowadays are actively racing for getting the top place in every specification and feature.

Similarly, the Reference site DxOMark has been testing phone cameras for a long time and its most recent results surely make for intriguing news. For quite a while, Apple's iPhone was considered on the top for mobile photography.

However from some time now, we have seen Apple's opponents pacing towards the top of line. It has been about two months since the iPhone 6S was launched promising the best camera quality.

However, according to DxOMark’s rating, Apple’s camera does not impress much. As per the rankings, we can see that Apple is on the 10th position.

In spite of Apple's reputation and reviews, Android overwhelms the superior options, with the Sony Xperia Z5 taking the top spot after the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge and the Google Nexus 6P.

The LG G4 comes in fourth, while a year ago's Galaxy Note 4 positions exceedingly in fifth. Next up is the exceptionally competent Moto X Style (Moto X Pure Edition) while in seventh position is Sony's Xperia Z3+.

The iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6 and iPhone 6S took the remaining positions. But it remains to be seen whether the iPhone 6S Plus can break into the top ten ahead of its sibling phones.

Despite Apple upgrading the phone’s camera with a 12MP state-of-the-art sensor, new image signal processor and Focus Pixels, the phone wasn’t any better off because of it.

Although it has the good white balance and exposure but luminance noise is clearly visible in low light, there is a slightly yellow cast in outdoor shots, and you also get occasional ghosting including other defects.
