Tizen-powered Samsung Z3 Officially Launched In India

Samsung is trying to keep Tizen alive!

The Samsung Z3 Tizen phone has been much anticipated since the leaks (back in July) carried some of its specifications to us.

The phone was also noted at the FCC alongside photographs of the device that spilled soon after. Samsung has formally announced the Samsung Z3.

This is the second Tizen phone from Samsung. That being said, as far as specs the Samsung Z3 is a capable Tizen phone with an attractive price tag.

The phone has a 5-inch 20p (1280 x 720) Super AMOLED HD display. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-center processor with 1GB of RAM, 5MP selfie camera along with an 8MP back camera.

It also features 8GB of memory which is expandable up to 128GB by means of microSD. 2,600mAh battery will juice up the phone and it will also accompany the most recent version of Tizen.

The device also consists of the Samsung’s Ultra Power Saving Mode, while Ultra Data Saving Mode is also a part of the picture. It will be focused at the Indian market (in spite of the fact that its FCC sighting provides an indication at a potential US launch.

Z3 will be priced at Rs. 8,490 which is equal to $130. This phone will be available through Indian retailer Snapdeal later this month in Black, Silver and Gold color options.
