August Home is partnering with 13 top home service providers to launch three new products which will make home access and security stress-free.

Founded by Jason Johnson and Yves Behar, August Home is headquartered in San Francisco, California, and manufactures home access products that put homeowners in control of the security of their homes regardless of where they are in the world. The company provides virtual keys access to homes and offices and allows the owners to manage the security via smartphone devices and apps.

The company has just unveiled three new lines of products and these are: August Smart Lock – Homekit enabled; August Smart Keypad; and August Doorbell Cam. The company partnered with organizations such as Sears, Postmates,, Handy, Fetch! Pet Care, Shyp, BloomNation, Envoy, Rince, HelloAlfred, Wag! Pillow, and Doorman among others to get the products into the hands of users.

According to CEO Jason Johnson, “Smart home technology today is rapidly on its way to mainstream; however, there are still many challenges that customers and service providers face when it comes to simple, secure home access. With August Access, our partnerships with top home service providers, and a new line of products, we’re solving the problem of bringing trusted services into the home in a secure and convenient way.”

Johnson revealed it has been a year now since the company launched the August Smart Lock, adding they have witnessed a growth in sales with about 5 million lock operations carried out in September. The co-founder of the security lock company said his company is set to deliver a complete system to manage, monitor, and control home access from anywhere in the world and so far users have iOS and Android app devices.

“As the nation’s largest home services provider, our Sears technicians visit more than 14 million homes each year to install, maintain, and repair homes appliances,” said Ryan Ciovacco, president of Consumer Electronics and Connected Solutions at Sears Holdings. “By teaming up with August, we provide our members with the ability to securely open their doors to our trusted technicians – without having to be home or worry about appointment windows.”

Designer and co-founder Yves Behar added that: “Our new products, and more importantly the ecosystem with third party services we’ve created, are designed not just to provide a delightful experience but to remove the friction that currently exists with home access and transform the way people interact with their homes,” and then he concluded by adding “We created our products to be beautiful, impactful, very easy to use and install, and to provide real value and utility to our everyday lives.”
