Chinese President Will Gift ZTE Axon to UK officials During His Visit

China has always been popular for its smartphones. Most of the major companies have their manufacturing factories in China due to the popularity in the region.

Apart from the international outlets of various famous companies in China, there are several local popular manufacturers too.

Some of the native companies of China are also interested in global reception. One among such companies is ZTE's Axon line. President of China Xi Jinping is on a visit to the UK to have meetings with British officials.

He will take this golden opportunity to promote the country’s local products and to make an impressive outcome on the international level.

The custom of exchanging gifts is an old Chinese tradition called "Guo Li”. According to this tradition, giving gifts at the start of any business, political or diplomatic meeting is considered good.

The nature of the gift will set the tone of the relations between two parties. A ZTE spokesperson explained how they came up with the Axon as the gift of choice.

According to them, Axon is the first flagship from the company launched globally. China is becoming popular in the West and releasing the device worldwide is a good strategic development.

The company also claimed that launching globally is just the first step towards providing the customers affordable technology.

7 in 10 devices sold by ZTE go out to consumers outside of China. The company has also recruited US and Germany employees but it still focuses majorly on Chinese customs.

The spokesperson in his statement also wished the president for his stay in UK. He said that he hopes the gift of Axon phones will bring good luck to the country.

He also expressed his enthusiasm towards future endeavors and claimed that ZTE will play a big part in economic growth of China.
