WhatsApp on iOS 9.1 updated to support Quick Reply.

Users with iOS 8 could use the quick reply feature in their Apple devices easily.

This feature permits the user to respond directly through notification, which appears when a message arrives.

This means that there was no need to open a message and you can easily respond through a notification.

Initially, the quick reply feature only worked with the text messages received on Apple iPhone.

Now, with iOS 9, Apple has extended the feature to third party messaging apps like Skype and Facebook Messenger also.

Finally, this option has also been announced for WhatsApp. Quick Reply will work with all Facebook owned messaging apps for iOS 9.

The latest update on Apple iOS just became available last week. The latest update to the iPhone version of WhatsApp app includes support for 3D Touch.

This feature is present on the new iPhone models. It permits the device to differentiate between hard touch, regular touch and a soft touch on the screen.

The light tap will let you peek at the content while a harder tap will pop open that page.

Apart from the above mentioned options, the new update iOS 9.1 also brings more than 150 new emojis and enhanced Live Photos which stops the camera from recording when raised or lowered.
