An Online Listing Shows Samsung Galaxy View Specifications

Samsung's huge tablet is coming soon with mediocre specs.

Kitchen tablets and other devices are quickly becoming popular. Currently, we have two famous tablets; the two-year-old Sony Tablet Z Kitchen edition and a few months old the Alcatel OneTouch Xess.

Now, Samsung has also jumped into this category. The Samsung Galaxy View is the new upcoming kitchen tablet. It is a giant 18.4-inch tablet and after much speculations, it is finally listed for pre-order on Adorama.

The listing has revealed some of the very important specifications of the tablet. The display has Full HD resolution with 120ppi density.

The device is powered by the Exynos 7580 SoC processor and is clocked at 1.6GHz. There is also the new chip Carmen2. It is first time ever seen on a moniker.

As for the storage, Galaxy View has 32GB of storage which can be expanded through microSD card up to 128 GB. It also has 2GB RAM.

There is no back camera but there is a 2.1MP front camera with HD video recording option. The connectivity options include quad-band 3G and Cat.6 LTE.

There is Bluetooth v4.1 and GPS with A-GPS and GLONASS. A Wi-Fi-only model may be available too very soon.

Although Samsung has said that there will be 8.5 hours of video playback, but the battery is only 5,700mAh.

There is all we know about the device for now. You can preorder Galaxy view for only $599. The actual launch date will be announced soon.
