The Metropolitan Police Cyber Crime Unit has arrested another teenager in connection with the TalkTalk data theft.

Police just announced that another arrest has been made in connection with the TalkTalk hack last week. Earlier this week a 15-year-old from Northern Ireland was arrested. Now police arrested another teenager. A 16-year-old boy got taken into custody in Feltham. A search of the residential address in Feltham has been completed. Officers have also searched a residential address in Liverpool.

There are other details available at this point. The second arrest shows that the Irish teen did not act alone. There is a possibility that there will be more arrests in the case.

Internet and phone provider TalkTalk was hacked on October 21. The company said that customer data including names, addresses and credit card/bank card information has been compromised.

The latest update from TalkTalk early this week said that credit card data was protected and the stolen information is not enough to access customer's bank accounts.
