Windows 10 Succeeded In Getting Nearly 8% Market Share

Microsoft is on the right path now.

Windows 10 was launched three months ago. Microsoft has been trying its best to publicize the new OS.

Just a month ago, Executive Vice President Terry Myerson announced that the new Windows has hit 110 million devices.

But now, after a complete three months, the number has crossed the total of a whopping 120 million.

Although, the news is not much of a surprise because for now, Windows 10 is totally free to upgrade from Windows 7 and Windows 8.1.

As per the recent figures revealed by Netmarketshare, Windows 10 has a total of 7.94% market share currently.

This is a good improvement in the sales but considering the adoption of Windows 7 which is 55.71%, Windows 8.1 which is 10.68% and Windows XP which is 11.68%, the market share is still low.

More and more people are updating their devices to new Windows, but there has been a dramatic clash in adoption rate after the update problems.

People are happy with Windows 8.1 due to its fast performance, so updating to new one must require a stronger reason and even stronger foothold.

Windows 10 had a really good start and in order to be on that position again and to be the eye-candy of Microsoft, it still has to offer some promising updates.

We can be quite hopeful for the popularity of new OS because Microsoft is very serious in rolling out new updates faster.

Also, in 2016 Windows Redstone, the new OS; is expected to come with smashing features.
