Samsung has added two new laptops to its award-winning ATIV lineup, and these are the ATIV Book 9 Pro and the ATIV Book 9 Spin. Both laptops in the Pro category represent excellent performance and a fascinating powerhouse, something that will give consumers the satisfaction of a rewarding investment.

With both laptops, consumers can be assured of blending the strength of a desktop with the practicality of a touch-enabled notebook. While the Book 9 Pro is designed just like any other great laptop, the Book 9 Spin has a 360 degrees rotating touch display to enhance versatility.

“Our new laptops show Samsung’s continued dedication to providing the best options for consumers so they can stay fully connected and productive from anywhere,” said Gary Riding, senior vice president, Mobile Computing at Samsung Electronics America.

“The Pro and Spin both feature gorgeous touch screens, lighter designs, and seamless connectivity within the Samsung ecosystem and represent our continued effort to innovate in the PC market,” Riding added.

With quality HDR enhancements, Samsung optimized the brightness and contrast of everything that can be seen or viewed on both computers, and users can be assured of crispy-clear images and texts.

The Pro has a 4k display and the Spin has a QHD+ display to enhance viewing quality, and both laptops have Samsung’s Outdoor Mode which enables users to see the screen with clarity even in direct sunlight.

Both laptops are very light and come in durable aluminum shells to allow for easy carrying anywhere. Although only the Pro comes with 4k resolution, the Spin supports traditional laptop mode, tented screen mode, and tablet mode – under any given mode, the touch screen and technology powering the Spin prepare it for instant activity as the user starts.

Both Book 9 Pro and Book 9 Spin use Intel® ultra-fast 6th Generation Core™ i7 processors, precisely designed for super-slim, ultra-portable and high performance devices with speeds up to 2.50 GHz (ATIV Book 9 Spin) and 2.60 GHz (ATIV Book 9 Pro). With 256GB of drive storage, the devices have more than enough storage to keep user’s computing and multimedia needs.

ATIV Book 9 Pro costs $1,599 and will start to be available in November 2015, while the ATIV Book 9 Spin costs $1,399 and will also be available starting this month. Both laptops will be available exclusively on and Best Buy.
