Yesterday two movie trailers were released that each generated over 6 million views in 24 hours. The Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer for Japan tops the first trailer of the Warcraft movie slated for summer 2016 release. How can a local trailer go viral like that?

Disney had the sneaky idea to pack never before scenes into the Japanese The Force Awakens trailer. This made the trailer a must see for Star Wars fans. The official Star Wars trailer released in October has now over 57 million views.
