Is Star Wars: The Force Awakens latest TV Spot a Hint?

The latest TV spot for the Episode 7 of Star Wars may have dropped a big spoiler about the Skywalker progeny.

Since the trailer for Star Wars: The Force Reawakens was released little is known about its plot. Fans have been speculating endlessly about all the titbits from the trailer. A new TV spot for the Star Wars: The Force Awakens was recently released. The TV spot may have hinted at the biggest spoiler and point of speculation among Star Wars fans.

Fans have long been suspecting about the heritage the central character in the upcoming film Rey. Many believe she is the daughter of Han Solo and Princess Leia. The latest TV spot for the Star Wars Episode 7 may have been a confirmation teaser.

The TV spot starts with the narration by Lupita Nyong’o’s alien character Maz Kanata. The clip shows Kanata’s home a castle on the planet Takodana. Katana has been shown to be a smallish figure with black goggles.

In the narration Katana narrates she has lived long enough to see the same eyes in different people. The scene conveniently cuts between the eyes of Han Solo and Rey. When the clip reaches Rey’s eyes, Katana narrates she has seen those eye and knows them.

The TV spot was released on the official twitter account of Star Wars: The Force Awakens. The TV spot clip is only 31 seconds long but filled with plenty of hints. The clip has added fuel to the already burning fire of fan speculation about Rey’s origin.

The speculation will keep on running rampant since Rey’s last name has not been revealed yet. The film Star Wars: The Force Awakens will be released on the 18th of December, 2015.
