Future iPhones Will Feature OLED display

Samsung Expected To Be The OLED Supplier For Future iPhones.

Samsung manufactured some processors for the current year’s iPhones. Most people complained that the phones with the Samsung’s processors were slow when compared to iPhones with other processor.

Now, a new report confirms that Samsung has struck a deal with Apple. Just recently, a new rumor surfaced from South Korea.

As per the speculation, Samsung and Apple are currently in talks for the future partnership. The new deal will be made on the basis that Samsung will supply OLED display panels to Apple for upcoming iPhones.

We don’t know if the deal is finalized or not. But the rumors suggest that both companies are very close to partnering.

The reason behind the deal is supposedly that Samsung is planning to expand its OLED panel production.

This means that the company wants to be able to fulfill the bigger demand if Apple asks for the OLED displays in the near future.

Also, it can be expected that Samsung can reportedly build an entire OLED production lineup for Apple’s supply (obviously, if it manages to get the deal).

The first part of the Samsung’s plan is already in function. The company is already selling its LCD manufacturing facilities’ equipment to a Chinese company.

The money extracted from the deal will be used to increase the OLED display production lineup for the future deals.

If Samsung succeeds in building the production facility only for Apple than it would earn the prestige to be only company of California with such vast supply of displays.

The title is currently under the head of LG display. For those who don’t know, Samsung is already manufacturing OLED panels for the Apple Watch.

The future deal can already be expected as an extension for the existing agreement.

Samsung can also face the competition from the other Chinese companies who are already expanding their production lineup.
