Melissa McCarthy has transitioned into a redhead for her upcoming role. The famous Oscar nominated funny lady is nearly unrecognisable in the new role. The trailer of McCarthy’s latest film ‘The Boss’ is released.

In the trailer we see McCarthy as Michelle Darnell a redhead woman who gets what she wants and does what she wants. Darnell is a ruthless, flamboyant and wealthy business woman. The story takes an unexpected twist when Darnell is arrested for insider training and sent to prison.

When Darnell is released she embarks on a new mission to become America's sweetheart. But plans go awry and hilarity ensues. While some people in Darnell’s life refuse to forgive her.

After having played a bridesmaid, spy, con artist and a cop, McCarthy is now playing a CEO. The film ‘The Boss’ is directed, co-produced and co-written by Ben Falcone. McCarthy has been married to Falcone in real life for the last ten years. The outlandish character of Darnell is typical of McCarthy-Falcone dual project.

The most surprising aspect is the new avatar of McCarthy. McCarthy is sporting a cropped ginger coif along with elaborate costumes. Even more surprising was a slim physique at first glance.

Full point to McCarthy for her ability to transform for any role. While talking to E! McCarthy shared she misses Darnell now filming is over. McCarthy also misses the clothes and Darnell was exactly the kind of woman she always obsessed over.
