  • The Global Temperatures are Sky High and a Sign of Future Chaos

The latest scoop says that the global temperatures are already sky high as it is. And this is a sign of future chaos.

The planet is changing and the change is not all for the best. We have already reached the halfway point where the phenomenon known as global warming has everyone in a tizzy. The mean temperatures for 2015 have in fact far surpassed last year’s thermometer readings. This is according to no less an authority than the UN. And so the danger to human beings and the animal and plant population is very palpable.

The present year actually shows a temperature that is a single degree higher than the 1880 to 1889 readings. A recent email from the World Meteorological Organization pointed out this anomaly. Only take it another degree higher and things will start to spiral out of control.

The effects could be deadly and very dangerous indeed. Catastrophes, apocalyptic scenarios and total chaos are the predictions for now. It is indeed very sad news and something must be done fast in order to avert this fate.

The greenhouse gas emissions could be stopped. Substitute fuel sources could also be found. But the world’s leaders and populations choose to turn a blind eye to the whole scenario.

It is almost like everyone is rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic. And all the while it is slowly sinking into the sea. There is yet time to control this process from careening into a SNAFU from our worst nightmares. Action has to be taken.

Otherwise we will leave behind such a bleak world for our offspring that they will curse us for landing them in a dystopia worse than any Brave New World. And we have to remember we always have choice. We can say no to pollution and the sort of fake progress that begets more problems than it solves.

The popular news that was doing the rounds until now said that climate change got halted somewhere towards the end of the millennium. But this appears to be based upon purely false premises.

According to the UN, while it may have slowed down, it had never really stopped. The appearance of heat wave after heat wave in the future will be a daunting task to face in its full force. Over 195 nations are to attend the Paris Summit on Climate Change which will take place soon.

The talks may yield a concrete set of steps that will be taken to stop the polluting ways of man. The three gases that are to be curbed are carbon dioxide, methane and nitrous oxide.

And the reins of the planet lie solely in our hands. As stewards of Mother Earth, it is our duty to avert disaster before it occurs and takes us into oblivion along with the rest of the planet’s flora and fauna.
