Apple skipping Black Friday 2015?

Apple still quite about Black Friday. Last year the Apple Store hosted a huge charity promotion to fight AIDS during the Apple Black Friday Sale.

Is Apple skipping Black Friday this year? There is still no word about an Apple Store Black Friday sales event. Last year Apple announced a huge charity program that ran during the Apple Store Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales events on Monday of the Thanksgiving Week. Now it is Wednesday and there is still no announcement from Apple.

From mostly charity to no Black Friday sale at all?

Apple donated a portion of the sales the company made on the Apple Store Black Friday and Apple Store Cyber Monday sale to the Global Fund to fight AIDS. In the United States, Apple Store customers received a special edition (RED) iTunes gift card with the purchase of select Apple products. For each gift card distributed, Apple donated a percentage to the Global Fund.

The Apple Store gift card bundle deals hit a low point last year. The charity aspect gave customers a good feel shopping at the Apple Store. Apple offered for the first time an Black Friday iPhone deal. Given the huge gift cards (up to $250), retailers are offering this Black Friday iPhone 6S customers activating installment plans, Apple is likely bringing an iPhone gift card deal back this year.

Apple offered the iPad with a $50 gift card and Macs with a $100 gift card. The iPod, Apple TV and Beats products came with a free $25 gift card. The Apple TV deal was actually the best deal last year, while all other deals have been better at other retailers.

There is not even hint of rumors about an Apple Black Friday 2015 sale. Maybe there is nothing to leak, as there will be no Black Friday sale from Apple.

It is not necessarily missed as Black Friday deals on Apple products are the better this year than ever before, offered by Apple's retail partners.

The iPad Air 2 tablet comes with $150 discounts or gift cards, the Apple Watch is $100 off and Macs are $200 off. As mentioned the newest iPhone is offered with up to $250 gift cards with activation of installment plans.

Apple products are again among the hottest Holiday gifts this gifting season. Especially the Apple Watch will be found under a ton of Christmas trees.
