Nokia C1 Rumored To Run Android and Windows OS

Nokia is all set for a huge entry into smartphone world.

Nokia sold its Smartphone business to Microsoft a few years ago. Not long ago, the CEO confirmed that the devices bearing the much popular Nokia logo will start coming again from 2016.

Now, we get to know that C1 would be the first device to officially include the Nokia logo for quite some time. We are yet not sure if the name of the device would be C1 or not.

In short, we do not even know the design of the device or its specifications etc. Back in September, we were fortunate enough to see supposedly leaked renders.

Just a few days after, we also came across a supposed hands-on photo session which showed an entirely different device.

Today, we again got a new hint towards the device’s design through leaked renders. There are four different pictures so far that claim to be renderings of the handset.

One of the leaked pictures was deleted soon after; and we got to view three.

All of them are totally different from each other. At this point, we can only guess which of the pictures is genuine.

The picture that we saw today is purportedly provided from a first-time tipster.

The fascinating details of the photo is that the C1 is showed running both Android in the front area, and also Windows 10 Mobile on the right side of the background.

According to the tipster, there will be two versions of this device. The sensible explanation than would be that each version is running on a different OS.

This is the first time we came across, this news. All the leaks till now have only hinted towards Android OS.

Also, Nokia has never announced that Windows phones are included in its plans. If today’s leaks is telling us the truth, than there is this intriguing question.

Why is Microsoft interested in making Nokia phones with Windows? We already have plenty of Microsoft phones with the mentioned OS.

It looks like we will have to wait for the official confirmation.
