Apple and UnionPay Rumored To Have Finalized The Deal Regarding Apple Pay

Apple Pay will soon debut in China!

Apple Pay is scheduled to launch in China. This is what we all guessed.

Finally a report by Bloomberg claims that Apple Pay is coming very soon following recent launches in the UK, Canada and Australia.

The report cites people who claim that Apple has succeeded in making a fine deal with China’s UnionPay.

The deal is aimed in flourishing Apple’s Pay sales terminals throughout the country. Apple and UnionPay have been working on this deal for a long time.

Now, it seems that UnionPay has decided to support Apple’s new venture in China by giving a helping hand against rivals like Alibaba Group and Tencent.

The new deal will support Apple Pay in around five million NFC terminals in China. The deal has been struck, but the agreement between both parties has yet not finalized properly.

According to a statement by an un-identified source, the feedback from the banks that issue cards is still in pending.

Another source also claims that Apple Pay will be launching as soon as next year in China. Different reports have also predicted China’s Apple Pay roll-out for around February 2016.

But, it is also not confirmed as the agreement between both parties has not finalized yet.

Apple Pay permits its iPhone and iPad users to pay for different products and services without a debit or credit card. The service has been popular in many countries.

Let’s wait to see the response of China regarding this new service.
