iPad Pro Smart Keyboard Gets 0/10 For Reparability By iFixit

iPad Pro Smart Keyboard gets the worst repairability score from iFixit!

The iPad Pro remained in the headlines for a long time. Now, it seems that its accessories have overtaken the highlights.

Although, Apple Pencil and Keyboard are in a very short supply worldwide, still iFixit got its hands on them.

iFixit, which is popular for torturing electronic devices, performed a complete teardown of these accessories.

The Apple Pencil is constructed in a very clever way with adroitly fitted internal components. The new Smart Keyboard has the same skillful fitting.

The teardown of the device showed the conductive fabric material by Apple. The fabric covers the length of keyboard.

The purpose of this specific fabric is to send power, data and other important information to all directions.

iFixit commented on the use of fabric as durable. According to them the device is less vulnerable to any damage and breaking when compared to normal wiring.

The device in whole is also strong and immune to damages. The keyboard is covered in a rich fabric, which is bother water and stain proof.

iFixit had to shed every single piece of fabric to start their teardown. Apart from these precautions, there are numbers of different protective layers will keep all the internal parts in place.

However, unfortunately, iFixit gave this strong Smart Keyboard a massive 0 when it comes to reparability.

Any attempt to see through the internal elements can permanently handicap the device.

iFixit also confirmed that the dome switches are an exact copy of those used in the 2015 Retina MacBook.

There is also a solidifying weight on the space bar, allowing firm presses over the whole width of the key.

The Smart Keyboard is really smart when it comes to the usage and functions. But, if you break anything than you have are in no luck to repair it back.
