According to Flicker, iPhone was the most popular camera device during 2015. Flicker just revealed its yearly review report.

The report highlighted the major statistics of its network for the past year.

The report contained details like the most famous color-trends, most popular cameras and the people who got most likes on their photos.

It is not surprising that Apple got the first position in the camera race. Every year’s iPhone comes with a better camera than the previous one.

This is due to the fact that Apple is improving its software and hardware modules and components every year. Flicker’s report analyzed the EXIF data of uploaded photos.

The site revealed that about 42% of pictures posted were captured by Apple’s camera. The second position was received by Canon EOS with 27% of uploading density.

The third position went to Nikon D with a 16% share. The top three devices summed up 85% of the total uploads at Flickr.

Also, as published on flickr.com/cameras the iPhone 6 and iPhone 5S were the most used devices during the whole camera.

The most popular device type for capturing and uploading pictures accounting for 39% to Flickr was a camera phone.

The report also stated that the popular colors during the spring season were dark lime green, sky blue and ocean blue.

Boston based Joe St. Pierre got the photographer spotlight with most views and likes for his picture.
