Turner Sports will present the eSports Showcase the first-ever Sports Business Forum at CES 2016.

CES 2016 is just around the corner and Turner Sports has some major plans for the event. Turner Sports is going to present a number of displays at CES. The plans will presumably redefine the playing field.

The displays will consist of a Sports Business Forum, eSports Showcase and Live Broadcasts of ‘Inside the NBA. The presentation will also take place in collaboration with Sports and Fitness Industry Association (SFIA).

Turner Sports will produce a series of events on Thursday, 7th of January. The events will take place in Tech West. It will be bringing sports to the forefront of the world’s largest innovation event.

The events will also include a live broadcasts featuring TNT’s Sports Emmy Award Winning documentary. The documentary is called ‘Inside the NBA’. The event CES 2016 is scheduled to take place from the 6th to the 9th of January 2016 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Gary Shapiro is the president and CEO of the CTA. According to Shapiro Sports and technology go hand-in-hand. Sports are going from the interconnected sports world to enhanced consumer viewing experiences. Competitive eSports is also becoming an explosive category at CES 2016. Shapiro also welcomed Turner Sports to CES 2016 along with its sports-fueled programming. Turner Sports will also bring competitions and broadcasts featuring NBA legends live to the CES show floor.

"We are especially thrilled to welcome Turner Sports to CES 2016 along with its sports-fueled programming, competitions and broadcasts which will feature NBA legends live from the CES show floor.”

The Sports Business Forum will highlight innovations. The innovations related to in-person viewing and sports content. Speakers such as Baseball Commissioner Robert D. Manfred, Jr. and NBA Commissioner Adam Silver will come.

Others include Raine co-founder and partner Joseph Ravitch, Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban. Sacramento Kings owner Vivek Randadive, TNT’s Ernie Johnson and Shaquille O’Neal will also appear.

The eSports showcase will give a live coverage of the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Championship. The event marks the debut of the newly formed professional eSports league ‘ELEAGUE’. Two best eSports teams in the world will square off at the event. Winners will receive a prize pool along with an invitation. Winner can participate in the new Turner Sports WME | IMG competitive gaming league.

Similarly a live newsfeed will broadcast TNT's Inside the NBA Live from CES. The popular NBA studio show will be televised live from the CES show floor. The TNT’s Sports Emmy Award winning studio team will be present.

Hosts will include Ernie Johnson and analysts Charles Barkley. Along with Kenny Smith and Shaquille O’Neal. They will all be on-site at CES with pre-game coverage leading into TNT’s NBA doubleheader. The showcase will be is free for all registered CES attendees.

CES 2016 is scheduled January 6-9, 2016 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
