The Head of Display Technology at Oculus will talk at the CES 2016 event about the new headset that is set to be launched in first quarter of 2016.

Oculus previously announced they will release their Oculus Rift VR Headset in 2016. The Headset will be released in the first quarter of the coming year.

Oculus has called the Rift VR Headset as the ultimate Family Friend. Oculus will be bringing the headset to the CES 2016. At the event in Las Vegas, Nevada Oculus will talk about the headset.

Oculus will explain what exactly makes the Oculus Rift VR Headset ‘The Family Friend’ of entertainment. The Head of Display Technology at Oculus will be talking about their headset at the CES 2016.

The biggest annual consumer electronics trade show namely CES is set to start from the 6th of January. Details and itinerary for the event are being finalised and released.

Oculus has also released its plan for the display at CES 2016. Oculus will carry out a talk relating to virtual reality. The presentation will be carried out by Oculus’ Head of Display Technology, MaryLou Jepson. Jepson will take attendees through Oculus’ vision of family screen time.

No further details are available on the Oculus talk. However it has been listed as part of the ‘FamilyTech Summit’. Reports claim the talk will focus on the pre-conceptions that virtual reality is a solitary and isolating experience.

Instead the talk will show how it can be a wholesome family experience. Jepson was previously the head of Google X’s display division. With all the products lined up it seems CES 2016 will the biggest event for Virtual Reality ever.
