  • Turner Sports’ largest–ever CES showcase includes eSports championship, first-ever Sports Business Forum & Inside the NBA

Turner Sports will Produce its Largest-Ever CES Showcase on Thursday, January 7. Turner sports have collaborated with WMEIMG for the first ever live feed in Las Vegas.

On Thursday the 7th of January Turner Sports will host its largest showcase ever at CES 2016. The showcase will be a live feed from Las Vegas, Nevada. Turner Sports has collaborated with WME/IMG for the live feed. The live feed is being called eSports which is a live On-Site Championship Round coverage.

This will also be the first ever Sports Business Forum at CES. Turner Sports will hold a panel in collaboration with the NextVR Company. It will feature NBA Commissioner Adam Silver & Baseball Commissioner Robert D. Manfred, Jr.

The live feed will be carried out by TNT’s Sports Emmy Award-Winning Inside the NBA team. The team includes host Ernie Johnson and analyst Charles Barkley.

Players Kenny Smith and Shaquille O’Neal also make up the team. The live feed championship is called Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Championship. It will be streamed live via the FACEIT Twitch Channel.

At noon the inaugural Sports Business Forum will take place. It will bring the panel to discuss and highlight the investment landscape for sports business.

New technologies in sports such as virtual reality technology will be featured. The forum will be followed by the eSports Showcase. The Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Championship will be broadcast live. Two teams expert in the CS:GO will face off against each other.

The championship will have three rounds. Winners will receive a prize pool along with invitations to participate in the newly formed ‘ELEAGUE’. The championship will be followed by the popular Inside the NBA show live at CES. The team will give updates on post-game coverage throughout the evening.
