Samsung Galaxy A9 Expected To Hit Stores Near Christmas

The new device will soon be making entry to the recent A3, A5 and A7 models of the refreshed Galaxy A series.

The A9 has been leaked through various pictures and videos. The device is expected to be launched by the end of December.

As per the leaked rumors and speculations, A9 will have 6 inch Super AMOLED display with 1080p resolution.

The device will run on Snapdragon 620 chipset along with 3GB RAM.

There is a powerful 1.8GHz octa-core processor with 4x Cortex-A72 and 4x Cortex-A53 cores.

Adreno 510 GPU is also the part of the new phone. Moreover, A9 will have a solid metal frame with dual glass panels of 2.5D.

Apart from the above mentioned details, there is a 13MP back camera with optical image stabilization and bright f/1.9 aperture.

You can also take panoramic pictures with 8MP selfie camera. There is LTE Cat.7 connectivity along with 32GB of expandable storage.

The A9 has a whopping battery of 4000mAh. The upcoming much-talked about device is also said to have power bank capabilities.

The power bank option would be powered by the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow, but it is also rumored that the new Galaxy A9 will be coming out with 5.1.1 Lollipop.

It means that the chances of such a feature in the new device are still rare.

In order to attract lot of interest, the handset would also support Samsung Pay.

It also has a dazzling fingerprint scanner. Although the device would be launching with Lollipop, it is expected that Marshmallow will be updated soon after.

As we have already told you, Samsung Galaxy A9 will soon be hitting stores worldwide.

The duration is expected to be around Christmas or early January.

The price of the new device will be CNY 3,000(€430).
