  • Jaguar Land Rover is going to enter the Electric Vehicle market next week by announcing their Formula E team for electric car-racing series!

Next week Jaguar Land Rover will announce the launch of a team for the Formula E electric car-racing series.

The EV segment is probably the future of automobiles. Almost every car brand is trying to transition to the EV segment. Jaguar is also on the move to enter the EV market.

Jaguar will enter the EV line-up with a racing car team. Jaguar will soon announce the launch of a team for the Formula E electric car-racing series.

Sky News revealed the Jaguar Land Rover team plans will be launched by next week. Jaguar will hold a press conference for the announcement on the coming Tuesday.

The Formula E team will pave the way for Jaguar to enter the electric car market. The team will compete in the upcoming Formula E motorsport series.

Jaguar is part owned by the Indian group Tata Motors and is Britain's biggest car manufacturer. At the press conference event Jaguar will make a commitment to launch an electric car.

Although a formal timetable will not be set for the electric car, sources have shared if an EV is made it would be developed at the Magna Steyr facility in Austria.

Jaguar will join other car brands at the Formula E series. Other competing brands are Renault, Audi and Peugeot. All of the other brands already have an established presence in Formula E. Jaguar decided to join Formula E because of the opportunity it presented for green technologies.
