Espial announced it will debut new apps for its G4 STB client to enhance the user video experience.

It seems Espial is bent on transforming the viewing experience worldwide. Espial announced it will be releasing new applications at the CES 2016 platform.

The applications will be for Espial’s G4 STB Client and will be based on the RDK and HTML5. Espial also announced it has partnered with the game manufacturing company TransGaming.

The company TransGaming enables network operators to deliver immersive video user experiences. Subscribers of TransGaming can combat cord-cutting and increase revenue through subscription.

According to Espial they will especially enable the G4 clients. The Pay TV operators will introduce innovative apps, services and business models rapidly.

Espial will demonstrate TransGaming's Smart TV gaming suite at CES 2016. The showcase will include GameTree TV, featuring family games and GameTree Casino. Dennis Ensing is the CEO TransGaming.

According to Ensing, the TransGaming and Espial partnership heightens the living room TV experience. The venture will be offering of a new level of entertainment to Pay TV operators.

Even the Smart TV manufacturers worldwide will benefit from the partnership. The collaboration will provide subscribers with added value from their video service provider.

“TransGaming’s portfolio of gaming and casino apps delivers high entertainment value for subscribers, and allows for new revenue opportunities for operators and manufacturers through app subscriptions, pay per use and in-app purchases. Bringing Transgaming apps to Espial’s G4 Client demonstrates how an open platform based on RDK and HTML5 enables operators to leverage large existing development communities to quickly introduce new services.”

The Consumer Electronics Show in January 2016 will be planned by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA). CES 2016 will be welcoming more than 3600 exhibitors and a total of 150,000 attendees this year. The CES 2016 will take place in Las Vegas, Nevada from the 6th- 9th of January, 2016.
