Apple Car Is An Open Secret Says Elon Musk

Tesla’s CEO has something quite exciting in store for us. During an interview with BBC Elon Musk commented on the long overdue rumor that Apple is working with on a self-driving or an electric car.

Elon Musk said that he is certain on this matter. He stated that the answer is obvious and Apple is enthusiastically preparing itself to debut in the automobile world.

He also noted that the company might be quite successful in this area too.

About a year has passed since we started hearing rumors of the “Apple Car”.

The company was actively hiring experience engineers with a solid experience in automotive industry.

Apple’s CEO Tim Cook also paid a visit to a BMW factory in Germany. The visit also provided weight to the already full-fledged rumors.

The rumors somewhat converted to a potential news when Apple started registering different domain in is names including, Apple.car, Apple.cars, and Apple.auto Now, Tesla’s CEO has also fueled our doubts.

Musk on the matter commented that it is obviously difficult to hide the matter when they are actively hiring over a thousand engineers.

He also said that Apple’s recent venture is an “open secret.” When Musk was asked if the Apple’s Car is going to be a threat for Tesla, the CEO commented that he believes in encouraging participation for the strong future of the electric car industry.

Let’s wait to see what Apple is in store for us and how Elon Musk is going to react if there is really some Apple Car launching in the near future.
