Breaking News: The winning numbers in the record Powerball drawing on Wednesday are drawn and it is official that three Powerball tickets had the winning numbers.

News broke from California first that the record-breaking Powerball Jackpot has been won with a ticket sold in Chino Hills. Now it is official that there were three jackpot winning tickets.

The Powerball tickets with the jackpot-winning numbers have been sold in California, Florida and Tennessee.

The winners will split the $1.6 billion jackpot. The exact final record-breaking jackpot is $1.586 billion. This means each of the winners will take home about $528 million, if they take the anniuty option.

The winning numbers are 4, 8, 19, 27, 34 and 10 for the Powerball drawing Wednesday January 13.

The close to $1.6 Billion Powerball jackpot is the biggest lottery jackpot in the history of lotteries world-wide. Spain's legendary Sorteo Extraordinario de Navidad (Spanish Christmas Lottery) has lost the title to Powerball.

The new Powerball jackpot for the Saturday drawing is now down to a boring $40 million.
