4,000 workers had to be evacuated after a bomb threat at Apple plants in Ireland.

Reports just appeared about a bomb scare at Apple factories in Ireland. 4,000 employees had to be evacuated. Police and Irish Defense Forces arrived at the scene and searched the buildings.

The search did not turn up any bomb though. The bomb scare happened at Apple's factories located in Cork. Buildings located at Lavitts Quay, Hollyhill and Model Farm have been evacuated.

Employees have been allowed back inside the buildings. There is no information about the details of the bomb threat, besides that the threats were made via email.

Emails are good evidence to find out the source of the threat.

Looks like European customers will face a couple hours of delays receiving their Macs.
