Now Apple becomes a target in Trump speeches.

GOP Presidential candidate Donald Trump delivered another highly questionable remark in a speech yesterday at the Liberty University. This time he brings Apple into his rhetoric.

According to Gizmodo, Trump said in his speech: “We’re going to get Apple to build their damn computers in this country instead of other countries.”

That is easy to say and falls in line with the "made in America" creates jobs idea. The reality though is that Apple is not only outsourcing iPhone manufacturing to China because of low wages. China and other Asian countries established a silicon manufacturing infrastructure that does not exist in the United States.

Trump said that he would impose a 35% tax on businesses producing goods overseas. If he indeed would become President and impose that tax, his Apple Stock would quickly become worthless. In a Facebook post in 2013, Donald Trump said that he has a lot of Apple Stock.

In that Facebook post he also gave actually great advice to Apple: "Tim Cook must immediately increase the size of the screen on the iPhone. It should be slightly larger than the Samsung screen- and they better get it right fast because they will lose a lot of business. I like the larger screen."

Apple released the larger iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus in 2014, and the iPhone was never more successful.
