Samsung Galaxy S7 Teased for Feb. 21 Unveiling

The Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2016 takes place on Feb. 21 unveiling the new Galaxy S7.

Samsung released a teaser video for the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2016 on Feb. 21. The next Samsung Galaxy smartphone will be revealed in just three weeks.

Samsung is making it a tradition to reveal the new Galaxy smartphones at the beginning of the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. The 2016 Mobile World Congress takes place this year from Feb. 22 to Feb. 25.

Samsung is again trying to benefit from Apple's iPhone release schedule. The Korean consumer electronics company has about a 6 month window where they offer a the newer smartphone than Apple.

The Samsung Galaxy S7 phone is rumored to go on sale on March 11. Famous leaker Evan Blass already posted the Samsung Galaxy S7 in shiny press photo. The design is rather similar to the Galaxy S6. Samsung is again offering an edge version featuring a screen that folds over the edges.

Evan Blass has already revealed key features of the Samsung Galaxy S7 early January. The major updates will include SD card slot and bigger capacity batteries. It remains to be seen if Samsung has a surprise feature up there sleeves that makes the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2016 exciting.
