Fitbit Alta Unveiled

Fitbit offers a new fitness tracker. Meet The Fitbit alta.

Fitbit adds the Fitbit Alta to the product line-up. The Fitbit Alta is a fitness wristband built with all-day activity, auto sleep, SmartTrack and reminders to move. The design is clean and fashionable. Customers can pick between for colors and three sizes.

The Fitbit Alta automatically recognizes and records exercises for you, so you can keep track of your workouts without ever pushing a button.

Fitbit will offer special premium accessory bands to add some bling to the Alta band.

The Fitbit Alta is available for pre-order now for $129.99. Fitbit ships the new fitness tracker next month.

With the Fitbit Alta, the company has another option for consumers. The current Fitbit line-up consists of the Zip, One, Flex, Charge, Charge HR, Blaze, Surge and Aria.

The Alta is comparable from the functionality with the Fitbit Charge. The Charge now looks dated compared to the Alta, having a smaller display and more clunky design.
