LG G5 To Feature Always On Display

A few days back we heard that the same feature will be coming to the Samsung Galaxy S7 too.

LG G5 is launching on 21st February, intending to give tough competition to the Samsung Galaxy S7 duo.

LG has now teased a new feature through its Facebook page. LG posted a GIF on the site showing just an outline of the LG G5’s Always ON screen feature.

The caption of the tease describes; “Never go asleep while others do. LG G5, Always ON.”

You probably would have got a hint what this actually means. Although there is this questions that will the Always ON features always be working?

If this is true, than LG’s feature would be different than the other phones because they display notifications while on stand-by.

On the other hand, the similar Smartphones like the Moto X and the Nexus series have their own way of showing notifications when the phone screen is off.

However, you can only peek at the notifications and the screens won’t stay permanently.

The screens only come along with a moment and then go back to sleep.

LG, as per the tease, could mean that the screen would never be off.

This is the feature we would all love to have but it is not enough to attract users.

Lastly, we will have to wait till Mobile World Congress(MWC) to see what it has in store for us.
