Silicon Valley startup HeadsUP! announced a head-up display for cars with Amazon's Alexa voice functionality.

HeadsUP!, a startup with headquarters in San Francisco, announced a gadget with the same name. The HeadsUP! is an aftermarket head-up display that wirelessly connects to your smartphone in the car.

The device is using Amazon's Alexa Voice Services, enabling drivers to send messages, get directions or ask HeadsUP! to set their living room temperature on their way home on a wintry day, all without touching their smartphone.

"Wouldn't it be awesome to turn your house to party mode on your way back from work - setting your Sonos to your favorite track, Nest to 70 degrees, and lighting to that cool blue?", said Arnab Raychaudhuri, founder of HeadsUP!

"The human machine interaction is changing from artificially imparted intelligence to a more naturally intuitive process," adds Arnab.

Starting today, February 18, Customers can pre-order HeadsUP! at a reduced price of $299.99 on www.getheadsup.com. HeadsUP! will ship this Fall.
