Nokia released a bold teaser for the Mobile World Congress 2016. Nokia promises the biggest thing you will ever see for the MWC 2016.

Update: Nokia MWC 2016 Announcement: 5G and IoT, AirScale

The video shows people starring at the sky and at their hand. One interpretation is that Nokia will unveil its 5G plans at the MWC 2016. Nokia is also working again on mobile phones. The Nokia that is left after the Microsoft buyout, is legally free now to dabble in mobile phones again. The Nokia C1 phone is circulating in the rumor mills, but that does not qualify as something for "the biggest thing you'll ever see."

Other possibilities for the big Nokia MWC 2016 announcement include virtual reality and drones. Nokia has with the Ozo virtual reality video camera system already a product in this up and coming category. Nokia announced earlier this year an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Traffic Management (UTM) concept for the safe operation of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) via LTE. This supports the idea of a possible Nokia drone.

The Nokia MWC 2016 media event kicks off on Sunday, February 21 from 5:30 pm CET.
