Huawei Brings the New Style of Business to Mobile World Congress 2016

Chinese Huawei will announce new consumer products at the MWC 2016.

Huawei is crazy successful in China. In Q3 and Q4 of 2015 the company was the top smartphone vendor in China. At the Mobile World Congress 2016 in Barcelona, Huawei launches another push to make an impact in the European and American smartphone market.

On Sunday, Feb. 21, Huawei will host a media event revealing "the new style of business." The company is talking about a smartphone. The company is rumored to reveal the new flagship Huawei P9 with dual lens camera. How the slogan would fit to the P9 is though unclear. Alleged leaked images of the P9 show a clean styled device, that just fits right into the current Huawei line-up. It is not a "new style."

Huawei could also reveal another unknown device. The Huawei MWC 2016 media event is at the same time as the LG event. LG will reveal the new LG G5 flagship phone and other devices. Why these big MWC 2016 media events are at the same time is unclear.

The Mobile World Congress 2016 will kick off Feb. 22 in Barcelona. Samsung, LG, Sony, Nokia and other are hosted MWC 2016 media events to reveal new devices including the Samsung Galaxy S7 and the LG G5. In 2015, Mobile World Congress hosted more than 93,000 mobile professionals from 200 countries.
