  • Adele’s “25” Occupying the Top Most Spot Again on the Billboard 200

Adele’s mega hit single “25” was no longer seen at the top spot in the Billboard 200. However it is back at its number one place for the ninth week in a row.

Adele’s “25” went down from the number one spot on Billboard 200 for almost two weeks. After a shaky performance given by the singer on Grammy’s, it was implied that the rating might go further down the charts. However “25” is back at the number one position as it earned 25 percent points in its sales and music.

The Billboard 200 that ranks all the famous and top grossing albums of the week is headed towards awarding the number one spot to “25”. At the number two spot, the new occupant is Justin Bieber’s “Purpose”.

It climbed up the ranks by getting points amounting to 15 percent. Meanwhile Rihanna’s “Anti” went down on the third spot after declining by 18 percent points.

Adele and Bieber both performed at the Grammy’s this year. It was seen that Adele gave a wobbly performance and it was not up to the mark as is normally expected from her.

She sang in flat and sharp notes. Along with that there were some technical problems in her performance too. She gave an interview on Ellen’s talk show where she said that she was really embarrassed by her performance and cried a lot after the Grammy’s.

She sang the same song “All I Ask” again in Ellen’s show where she sang it perfectly. She was applauded for her performance in Ellen’s morning show.

Bieber’s performance was worth watching on the Grammy’s which also boosted his ratings. His song is at the number two spot on the Billboard 200.

Taylor Swift won the award for the coveted album of the year at the Grammy’s. Her famous album “1989” is at the number eight spot on the charts after climbing a total of twelve spots.
