David Bowie may have died, but his music and entire personality still inspires so many people that his art will live on. His most recent album, which was released just two days before he died, will be made into a four-minute long movie that will premiere on Instagram. Though the album was named Blackstar, the video will be called Unbound: A Blackstar InsaMiniSeries. The movie will unveil over the course of 16 extremely short episodes on the InstaMiniSeries Instagram account.

According to USA Today, the series will star Tavi Gevinson and Patricia Clarkson, and that is pretty much all we know. There haven't been any reports as to whether the movie will have a plot, but the producers have said that it will be inspired by the different moods of the album.

While there isn't anything all that innovative about the premise, it will surely live up to the art that we have all come to love. Since each clip will only last 15 seconds, there is no telling whether or not there will be any plot at all for the video. Still, it will likely be a great tribute to the artist.

The best part is that Bowie knew this was happening: The producers say he gave them "unmediated access" to his album and the images associated with it.

Unbound will air this Thursday at 8PM ET.

Check out the announcement below:

"UNBOUND: A ★ InstaMiniSeries” In the Fall of 2015, David Bowie gave us unique pre-release access to the music from ★ (pronounced ‘Blackstar’), his 28th studio album, allowing us to create our own visual interpretations of his songs, with no limits or preconditions on his part. Completed in December 2015, UNBOUND: A★InstaMiniSeries takes the audience on a journey of evocative images inspired by the moods suggested in the album’s music, lyrics and artwork. Each episode of the series is sure to capture the imaginations of all who experience it and will undoubtedly lead to endless speculation and discussion of meaning, metaphor and intention. We are honored to have had this opportunity and hope you'll join our 16 episode series, premiering February 25th. New episode every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
