The show will entertain and arouse the musical sense in 1500 guests. The list of guests in the audience include several Oscar winners as well as many nominees.

Presenters, performers and VIPs will all be there to witness what Trombone Shorty has got in the way of solid talent and “entertain-mentality”. Trombone Shorty and Orleans Avenue is a hard edge funk band that excels in the use of hiphop drumbeats, rock’n’roll waves and jazz improvisation ability.

They are a force that calls out to be recognized by the sheer energy of their performances. The band is way up there in the Under 30 Talent List in a Forbes Magazine Survey of musicians.

In 2015, Shorty and his band performed with Queen Latifah, Usher and others at the White House in the presence of President Obama and his family.

Shorty has also supported the Foo Fighters in their European tour and lent its voiceovers for The Peanuts Movie. Shorty is one of the few people aboard President Obama’s Turnaround Arts Initiative. He received a nomination at the 2010 Grammys for his album titled “Backatown”.

Among some of the other events of the Oscars evening will be DJ M.O.S. and DJ Kiss presenting a mix and medley of several musical genres in a beautiful rendition that will touch the hearts and souls of the listeners.

The Governor’s Ball will be held at the Ray Dolby Ballroom in Hollywood. As for the 88th Oscars, they will appear in all their enviable decadence and sophisticated style on the 28th of February, 2016.

That will be a Sunday, so anyone who is at home can kick back his or her shoes and relax on a sofa while watching the Academy Awards Show on his or her television set.

The 88th Oscars will be held on Sunday, February 28, at the Dolby Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center in Hollywood, and will be televised live by the ABC Television Network at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT.

Over 225 nations and territories around the global village will get live footage of the Oscars. It is not an event to be miss. A must-see ceremony, the Oscars will titillate and entertain everyone from the children to the adults all the way to the grandparents in every household on earth.
