2017 Acura NSX Winds Up in Jay Leno's Garage
Jay Leno Reviews the 2017 NSX

Watch Jay Leno taking a close look at the new 2017 Acura NSX in his online car show.

The 2017 Acura NSX super car is available for pre-order since Feb. 25. Delivery of the 2017 Acura NSX begins in Spring. Acura ran a Super Bowl 50 ad introducing the new NSX, which car fans had wait for a very long time. Jay Leno featured the 2017 Acura NSX in his online car show "Jay Leno's Garage" this week. The episode begins with comparing the last NSX from a decade ago with the new 2017 model.

Leno talks with the NSX designer Michelle Christensen in detail about the design work that went into the stunning car. He then talks to Ted Klaus, responsible for the engine and transmission on the 2017 Acura NSX before it is time for a test drive.

"It pulls very nicely," is the first thing Jay Leno says test driving the 2017 Acura NSX. Well, it should. The 2017 NSX hybrid supercar features a V6 500hp petrol engine and three electric motors adding 73hp. The NSX is probably the supercar with the most high-tech on the market. This gadget one wheel is not going to fancy all sport car fans.

Jay Leno's verdict: He is going to order one. That says it all. The most impressive feature of the NSX shown by Leno is the launch control. You just need to put your foot on the brake and rev up the engine to over 2,000rpm and the NSX is ready to launch. There is no launch button necessary. Very cool.

The new NSX has a base price $156,000. A fully tricked out NSX can reach $205,700.

Jay Leno's Garage, the Emmy-winning series where Jay Leno gives car reviews, motorcycle reviews, compares cars, and shares his passion and expertise on anything that rolls has a new show every week.
