It has been thirteen months since Bobbi Kristina Brown was found in a bathtub, unconscious. It has been eight months since the 23-year-old died, never having woken up from what happened, and never being able to give insight into what went wrong. Today the results of her Georgie autopsy were unsealed.

However, no one is talking about why the daughter of the late Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown passed away.

According to USA Today, the Fulton County, Georgia medical examiner’s office "has not received a signed authorization from the court indicating whether we can release information and, if so, what type of information can be released. If we do receive authorization later today, we do not plan to release information until tomorrow, March 4, 2016, at the earliest," the medical examiner's office said on its website.

The District Attorney who wanted to seal the autopsy, Paul Howard, still wants to keep the issue private for "valid public safety and investigative reasons," and issued a statement:

"It is our feeling that those valid reasons still exist; however, as citizens and officers of the court we must, nevertheless, follow the orders and instructions of the court," Howard's statement said. "We would hope that news agencies and the media receiving the report would do so with the discretion and dignity a family who has lost a loved one deserves. Our investigation into the death of Bobbi Kristina Brown will continue."

Authorities in Fulton County, which is outside Atlanta and where Bobbi Kristina lived, have known the results since the autopsy was completed and then rushed to seal the autopsy and requested that no one poke around.

For months, everyone complied until Atlanta TV station WXIA demanded that they be released on First Amendment grounds due to an autopsy being a public record, and the court granted the motion to unseal the autopsy.

After Bobbi Kristina's death, her estate filed a civil suit against Nick Gordon, her ex-boyfriend, and said that he injected a "toxic" substance into her before her death. The suit also said that he stole from her. Still, there haven't been any criminal charges filed.
