New Ghostbusters Movie will be Big as First Trailer Goes Viral

The new all female Ghostbusters movie will be big at the box office.

The new 2016 Ghostbusters reboot movie will be in theaters on July 15. Yesterday director Paul Feig unleashed the first trailer for the new Ghostbusters movie and the trailer went viral reaching close to 7 million views on Youtube in less than 24 hours.

Ghostbusters 2016 features an all female team of ghost hunters. Thirty years after the beloved original franchise took the world by storm, director Paul Feig brings his fresh take to the supernatural comedy, joined by some of the funniest actresses working today including Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon, Leslie Jones. Hollywood hunk Chris Hemsworth is also part of the new Ghostbusters movie.

Kate McKinnon stands out as the nerd in the team and she is hilarious in the trailer. There are a lot of jokes already embedded in the short trailer, which likely means that the focus is on comedy. The rather 80s looking visual effects support that angle. It's not action and visual thrill the new Ghostbusters is after. It's all about the funny.

The first trailer for the 2016 Ghostbusters has raised a lot of attention and this should guarantee a big first box office weekend.
