Who is going to bring home the golden popcorn home this year? While the MTV Movies Awards aren't as prestigious as the Oscars are, they are in their 25th year, so it is sure to be an all-out celebration. The awards are set to take place on April 10, 2016 at 8 PM in Burbank, California. Today, the network announced the nominees.

There are of course the traditional categories like Movie of the Year and Best Male and Female Performances, however there will be two news categories: Best True Story and Best Documentary. These categories include Oscar-nominated films such as The Revenant and the Hunting Ground. There are also, of course, awards for Best Kiss, Best Villain and Best Fight.

The nominees, who include Rebel Wilson, Ryan Reynolds, Daisy Ridley and Will Smith, have all been picked by producers and executives at MTV, but the winners are chosen by votes.

This year, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Kevin Hart will be hosting the event at the Warner Bros. backlot in Burbank.
