Apple March 21 iPhone SE Event Will Be Streamed Live Online

The Apple iPhone SE event is again to be streamed live online.

Apple got now into the mindset to live stream all media events. The March 21 event is no exception. On March 10, Apple sent out invites to the media to attend an event on March 21 in Cupertino at the Apple Headquarters.

Apple fans around the world can stay at the comfort of their homes or at their office and watch what Time Cook and his colleagues unveil online. The page for the Apple March 21 media event stream is already setup here.

Requirements for watching the live streaming the event is a device and software that supports Appleā€™s HTTP Live Streaming (HLS) technology. HLS requires an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with Safari on iOS 7.0 or later, a Mac with Safari 6.0.5 or later on OS X v10.8.5 or later, or a PC with Microsoft Edge on Windows 10. Streaming via Apple TV requires an Apple TV (2nd or 3rd generation) with software 6.2 or later or an Apple TV (4th generation).

Apple is expected to unveil a new small iPhone at the March 21 event. The new iPhone Special Edition (SE) is believed to be modeled after the iconic iPhone 5, but with iPhone 6S performance. The iPhone SE is said to run on latest A9 CPU and the M9 Chip. A new iPhone SE case that surfaced in China suggests though that the iPhone SE design is a mix of iPhone 5 and iPhone 6. Unless the iPhone SE shell leaks ahead of the March 21 event we will not know how the iPhone SE looks like.

Other features of the iPhone SE supposedly include Apple Pay, iPhone 6 quality camera, always-on Siri and Live Photos. Color options are supposed to include bright pink. This new iPhone is offering a state-of-the-art iPhone experience, but in a small package with an expected lower price than the iPhone 6S.

The iPhone SE is supposed to not kill the iPhone 5S. An analyst reports says that Apple will cut the iPhone 5S price in half and continue selling it. The iPhone SE price would be $450, the same price the iPhone 5S is selling now.

Finally the first iPhone SE part has leaked out of Asia, confirming that Apple's partners are indeed in production of a new 4-inch iPhone SE.

The second product Apple will unveil is a smaller iPad Pro according to rumors. Some new Apple Watch accessories are also in the mix reportedly. If Apple is able to keep a secret until the event remains to be seen.
