Vernee Apollo Smartphone with MediaTek Helio X20, 6GB RAM and 128GB Storage Unveiled

New Chinese startup Vernee unveiled a high-performance smartphone with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage.

A new Chinese smartphone maker unveiled a packed smartphone dubbed Vernee Apollo. This new Android phone is running on the new MediaTek X20 10-core CPU and is packed with 6GB of RAM and 128GB storage.

Update: The price of the Vernee Apollo is only $399.99.

The Apollo features a full metal uni-body with a 5.5-inch display that is supposed to have 3D Force Touch. The specifications do not reveal if this is similar to the functionality of the Apple iPhone 6S.

Other features of the Vernee Apollo include 21MP Sony IMX20 camera, 8MP front camera and USB-C port. The Vernee Apollo is supposed to start shipping in April.

We received this information via email and so far have not been able to verify it. We are inquiring to get more details on this new smartphone. It is supposed to be presented at an upcoming MediaTek conference.

Update: Vernee will launch three models in this Spring based on different MediaTek chipsets.
