It is not known yet which Lumia and Nokia branded Windows Phones are able to get the Windows 10 Mobile operating system upgrade. Microsoft has not revealed any details about compatibility yet. MSPowerUser reports that T-Mobile Croatia has though leaked a list of models that can get the Windows 10 Mobile update. The list includes Lumia 435 SS/DS, Lumia 535 SS/DS, Lumia 635 1GB SS, Lumia 640 SS, Lumia 640XL SS, Lumia 735 SS, Lumia 830 SS, Lumia 930 SS and Lumia 1520 SS.

There is another complexity that could prevent you to get the Windows 10 Mobile update is your carrier.

Windows Phone owners will actively ask for the upgrade. Microsoft is not forcing the update to existing Windows Phone users.

Microsoft was supposed to release the Windows 10 upgrade end of last year, but it never came. Now the handful Windows Phone 8.1 owners can start to get excited.

Windows 10 Mobile has lots of improvements and synergies with Windows 10 on PCs. Continuum for instance lets your phone power a second screen, like a TV or a monitor. Connect a mouse and keyboard to use your phone like you use your PC—while leaving your phone screen free to use as you always do.

It also allows to access everything Office can do on your PC it can do on your phone and tablet, too. Take your work with you, collaborate with friends, or take a few notes to reference later on your PC. Microsoft's Cortana is also available on Windows 10 mobile.
