A report out of the Asian supply chain says that new Apple MacBooks are coming in June.

As expected Apple has not announced any new Mac hardware at the March 21 media event. Apple will unveil new MacBooks and other new computer hardware at the WWDC 2016 in June. The date for the Apple developer conference has not been set yet.

Digitimes reports today that Apple is going to release new ultra-thin 13- and 15-inch MacBooks that will ship end of Q2. This fits with the WWDC 2016 timing. The two new MacBooks are supposed to be similar in design to the 12-inch MacBook, but thinner than existing MacBook Air.

The new ultra-thin MacBooks would be thinner than 0.11-0.68 inch. I rather would see more powerful hardware than another thinner laptop.

At this point the report can not be confirmed. Digitimes has a mixed track record for rumors like this. It is save to say that new MacBooks are on the way.
