The Mystery has finally been solved!

Apple is one of those companies which surprises us all with unexpected announcements and decisions.

When iPhone SE was first introduced through the rumors, we all were confused on what SE might actually stand for.

The new 4-inch iPhone was officially announced yesterday and finally the Senior Vice President Of Worldwide Marketing has revealed what SE actually means.

True to the prior popular assumptions, SE stand for “Special Edition.” Apple’s Phil Schiller revealed the full form in a conversation with the popular journalist Jason Cipriani.

iPhone SE stands for iPhone Special Edition and it so fits the point too. It must be noted that before Schiller actually announced the full form, the internet was filled with really funny assumptions.

One Twitter users suggested that the SE could mean “Super Encrypted”. What kind of a full form is that? However, if we think technically it matches the Encryption case Apple is fighting.

FBI and Apple both, are in disagreement over encryption on the iPhone. Another Twitter user hinted that the SE might stand for “Still Expensive.”

Apple during the event yesterday announced a 9.7 inch iPad Pro, iPhone SE, and new Apple Watch bands.

A new software framework called Carekit was also announced.
